Olamide poses with Ooni of Ife – Singer Olamide has shared photos of himself with the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, as he paid homage to the traditional ruler.
It would be the first time the Lagos Boys rapper would be meeting the monarch, and he took the opportunity to pay his respects and take a photo.

NBC bans Olamide’s Don’t Stop – The National Broadcasting Commission has banned Olamide’s hit song, Don’t Stop.
In a letter from the director of the Commission’s Lagos Zone, ‘Bunmi Cole, to broadcasting houses, the NBC claimed it had observed lyrics from the song, which led to the ban.
According to the NBC, the song “contravenes section 3.6.1 of the Nigerian Broadcasting Code which states: “Obscene, indecent, vulgar language, lewd and profane expression, presentation or representation is not allowed.”
The letter quoted lines from the song including “Wa gba ponron” and “it took your mama nine months to make it”, and asked that the song be placed on the Not To Be Broadcast list.
